It's the music of Rod Stewart. Let's hope his lovely and notoriously camera-shy
daughter is in the crowd tonight and graces us with a shot.
Dot Dot Dot sings sings sings "Time Is On Your Side."
John calls it their best performance, but Sheila wanted a little bit more from
them. At least that seems like what she was saying between the audience boos.
Dicko wants them to tell a story with their songs or something.
Second up is Denver and the Mile High Orchestra with "Baby Jane."
Johnny was happy to finally hear some guitar from them and Sheila E. loves them
"so much." Dicko loved it as well. To a point. Up to the point where they took
the bridge out. Don't you know Dicko wants you to take him to the bridge? Take
him to the bridge!
Sixwire has some hot legs. Excuse me, "Hot Legs." The
judges were quite hot for this performance. Three bands are left in the green
room. Two spots are left in the competition. You do the math.
The Clark Brothers. They are next. "You're In My
Heart" is their tune. The performance is soft and sweet and it actually makes
Sheila E. cry. I guess that's really all the commentary we need.
So one last spot. It goes to Light of Doom. They dedicate
"Infatuation" to Très Bien!, a growing trend on the show. Most bands
would probably rather perform than have a song dedicated to them, but take what
you can get. The judges pretty much liked the performance.
And that's it for this week. |
